The ratification vote for the Communications Workers of America 2026 Contract extension with Verizon New York/New England will begin on March 20th, 2026
We have been visiting and having virtual meetings with our members to discuss details of this extension. After careful consideration, CWA Local 1109 recommends a No Vote on this contract extension.

Voting Schedule and Information:
- Ballot Delivery – Electronic Ballots will be sent to members cell phones starting 9am on March 20, 2026
- If you receive a link expired message, simply reply Yes and you will receive a new link
- Election Deadline – March 25th 5pm
- Sender ID – The message will come from an 888 #
If you do not receive a ballot or are having any issues voting:
- Contact the Chairman of the Election Committee, Mark Imperato at eccwa1109@gmail.com
- Call the CWA Local 1109 office 718-444-1109
- You may also reach out to your Chief Steward or Business Agent for any assistance
- In person voting will be held at the Brooklyn office and Suffolk Office on March 24th between 9am – 7p (if you vote electronically you cannot vote in person)
